Family Sponsorship

The Canadian government stresses the importance of family and it’s citizens’ happiness; one of the ways it demonstrates this is by uniting families through their Family Class Sponsorship Program. Canada’s family reunification program is a staple in the Canadian Immigration system, however, the process shouldn’t be taken lightly and can even be seen as competitive. There are thousands of disappointed applicants every year who cannot achieve their goal of helping their families make the move into Canada.

An individual can sponsor certain relatives to come to Canada if they’re at least 18 years of age and meet one of the following:

•  are a Canadian citizen
•  are a person registered in Canada as an Indian under the Canadian Indian Act, or
•  are a permanent resident of Canada.

At Legal Leaf, our team is prepared to help you through the difficult process to ensure that your family has the best chance possible at moving to Canada. We are experienced in the process and have the resources and knowledge needed to put forth a strong application on your behalf.
